Some beautiful scenes


I would love to share some more photos of today's cultural sightseeing. Here is a hidden passageway entrance into a castle that used to protect people from entering Syracuse. It was an absolutely amazing castle. 

Here is the entrance--viewed from the inside--of a man-carved cave (blogged by Lauren) shaped like a tear drop. The stone extracted from the land were used to build all the structures in Syracuse. Prisoners used to be locked in here for life.
